Nature of the information
The rent figures published here are benchmarks from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Fair Market Rents program (FY2027) and survey medians from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. They are provided for general information only. A Fair Market Rent is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of the rent of any specific home, and nothing here is financial, legal, or housing advice. Always confirm the actual rent, fees, and terms with the landlord or housing agency, and check the primary data source before making decisions.

The text, layout, and original analysis on this site belong to AverageRentCost.com. The underlying rent data is published by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census Bureau and is in the public domain; our presentation and commentary are ours. Links to this site are welcome and do not require permission.

Accuracy and corrections
